This year my husband and I have been pondering ways we can be deliberate in 2016. To help us remember from day to day what we are aspiring to this year, we made this gorgeous canvas. Today, I will share step by step how you can make one for yourself….
Your child will ABSOLUTELY LOVE making these three super easy decorations for their bedroom using paint sample cards. My son did. The best part is that they are so cheap to make, they look great, and they can easily be matched up with colours already in your child’s room to help tie the whole look together.
When a special event comes around, it can be hard to think how to make the house look nice without too much effort or cost. Today I wanted to share with you just a few photos from my sister’s baby shower that I helped organise last year (plus a neat trick I learnt for making pink lemonade and decorating cake pops to match colours!).
The room ended up looking so pretty and feminine with a “country kitchen” look, which would be perfect not only for a baby shower but also a wedding, bridal shower or special birthday event. So if you think you might be planning one of these in the near future, read on….
My little ‘almost’ two year old is getting into EVERYTHING at the moment and as Christmas is fast approaching, I knew I needed something different to decorate my Christmas tree. The tinsel and glass baubles I have used in previous years just weren’t going to do!
My precious grandma passed away in June this year. She was 98 years old. So in these recent months I have been spending some time restoring and updating a special gift that I gave her for her 90th birthday, 8 years ago. It will now be a wonderful keepsake for each of our families to treasure for years to come, remembering her life, our family history and the legacy she has left behind.
I couldn’t have anticipated eight years ago what a treasure this photo book would become for all of us now. It was the best birthday gift ever!
Well, I don’t know about you but I have found that kids clothes take up A LOT of space. My Little Scientist is 5 years old now and I am reluctant to get rid of all those clothes he no longer wears on the off chance I might have another baby boy one day.
So I needed to find a creative storage solution to help with this growing mountain of clothes and this is what I made.
