Well my third baby is due to arrive very soon and I am super excited! The room is all set up ready to go and I just can’t wait to hold my precious son or daughter in my arms. We don’t know the gender yet but what I DO know is this pretty nursery is not going to stay all lovely and beautiful like this very long once we bring bub home and the reality of life with three kids sets in….. so I thought I had better take some photos to share on the Blog here with you before sleepless nights and dirty nappies take over! I also want to show you the three simple decorating projects I made to add a bit of personality to the room.
I am so excited to FINALLY be able to present my daughters pretty bedroom here on my Blog. This Shabby Chic inspired room has been a work in progress for the past year or so and has certainly been a labour of love. I am thrilled with the results and have enjoyed making a few special things for the room, then bringing it all together. I hope you enjoy the tour!
I don’t know about you, but our family seems to use tissues ALL the time. We use them not just for noses but for spills and bumps and all sorts of things. This is why we have ended up with a tissue box in just about every room in the house.
Though you can buy many pretty patterned tissue boxes these days, it is nice to have something that lasts a bit longer and permanently matches in with the room.
I am super excited today to share with you something I have been working on literally for months! It has been such fun and I am really pleased with the results. This boy’s bedroom I have recently done up is jam-packed full of things little boys love (ie. LEGO!) along with a bit of industrial and vintage style that I hope you will love.
Your child will ABSOLUTELY LOVE making these three super easy decorations for their bedroom using paint sample cards. My son did. The best part is that they are so cheap to make, they look great, and they can easily be matched up with colours already in your child’s room to help tie the whole look together.
