“You’re an IDIOT !”
The words hit deep and hard in the heart of my precious seven-year old.
I saw his pain and recognised it for what it was. This was one of those important moments in parenting. The kind you don’t want to stuff up. A pivotal learning opportunity… and I prayed I’d have the right words to say.
The words that bubbled out of my mouth ended up surprising even me! It was certainly a teachable moment … but what I wasn’t expecting was that the lesson was intended for me, and YOU too !
Well we FINALLY got here! Twelve weeks pregnant today! Woo Hoo! Baby number three! I am so amazed and feel so very very blessed. This has been a tiresome journey (but totally worth the wait of course). Today I would like to share with you a bit about this journey and my struggles with getting pregnant due to Poly Cystic Ovaries, and basically why I am especially super excited and thankful for this precious gift of life.
These words.
I have said them and thought them so many times this week I have lost count! Always striving but then apologising. Having not reached the mark I had set for myself. But then…… three simple words that I really needed to hear arrived on my phone screen ….. and perhaps you need to hear these words today too.
Your child will ABSOLUTELY LOVE making these three super easy decorations for their bedroom using paint sample cards. My son did. The best part is that they are so cheap to make, they look great, and they can easily be matched up with colours already in your child’s room to help tie the whole look together.
My little ‘almost’ two year old is getting into EVERYTHING at the moment and as Christmas is fast approaching, I knew I needed something different to decorate my Christmas tree. The tinsel and glass baubles I have used in previous years just weren’t going to do!
